Already a ladies man!!!

Jeff, Dave, Elise and I took Carter to Lake Las Vegas this weekend. A cutie pie little girl came
running over to check Carter out.
The Ritz Carlton at Lake Las Vegas. It was a beautiful day!

The Boyz

Handsome aren't they?

Dave and Elise visit

On Friday I flew home from Seattle with a little help from some good friends. Dave and Elise helped me through the airport and also got to stay with us a couple days. Carter LOVES Auntie Elise, . . . and Uncle Dave too.

A new toy . . .

Carter got a new toy from some friends. It's a Jumperoo. He is the perfect height right now and loves the fun music and lights when he bounces up and down.

Happy Boy

Saturday afternoon football

A bunch of guys get together on Saturday's and play football in the park close to our house. It is only FLAG football but it tends to get quite physical.

Bryan imitates Matt Hasselbeck . . .

. . . and ends up injured too . . .
Notice Bryan's leg hyper extended

Jeff going for the tackle.

Jeff holds Bryan's leg straight, Bryan tries not to pass out.
Bryan being helped to the car, only to enjoy a nice ride to the hospital.
Uncle Bryan gets a little love after a hard day at the hospital. He has a very bad sprain in his leg and small tear in some muscle. He feels fine, thanks to Morphine.
Bryanna is very excited to get her hands on his pain medicine
(don't worry, it has a child proof cap)

Auntie Erin . . .

. . . Mommy's phone is back on. She forgot to turn it back on after the airplane ride. Call her, I miss your voice.
Love, Cartier

What a weekend!

Jeff has been hard at work the last few months getting ready for grass. Finally the sprinkler system is in, old bushes and rocks removed, top soil down and now . . . sod. It was delivered at 8:45 Saturday morning. We had hoped to have it down LAST Saturday while I was out of town but a freak storm made it too wet to install. Or so Jeff said, because when I got home it was warm and sunny 75. This Saturday was picture perfect so there was no getting out of it this time.

I left to get some breakfast and came home to find Loren holding the little guy. He is GREAT with Carter. Lugged him in one hand a piece of sod in the other. He was a huge help and Carter was a content as could be working with the guys.

Loren, Mike, and Kevin all helped get the grass down in about 1 hour! Dave came from out of town with his lovely wife and we put him to work too. It is the best to have such awesome friends and family when there are projects to get done around the house!
THANKS GUYS!

Pictures for Daddy

Auntie Erin is teaching me to hold my own bottle.
I am teaching Teddy how to point. (but Mommy says I am using the wrong finger.)

Okay Daddy, here I am as Jackie Chan doing karate again . . .

and now I'm an elf (see the scrunched ear) . . . and here I am just waving to you.

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!!

Here's your card, I thought this would be better than trying to mail it to Mexico!

I just wanted to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my parents. In case they check this while they are lounging poolside in their bathing suits, must be hard to put the margarita down to check emails :) (By the way, it's raining here in Seattle (how rare!) and 50 degrees. I am freezing and Carter misses you.)

Daddy this post is for you!

Just so you don't forget what I look like in the 10 days I am gone . . .

I am getting in some good tummy time, still a little wobbly but stronger by the minute . . .
and hopefully you remember what I sound like. "I SAID I LOVE YOU DADDY"

Me and Teddy

One of Mom's co-workers gave Carter this teddy bear. It is super soft and cute. Carter has a new pal.

It looks like he's giving the bear some love, actually Mommy was busy taking pictures and Carter kinda fell over.

Missing you . . .

No pictures this post, silly me forgot the camera at home.
We, Carter and I, arrived in Seattle yesterday at 1:00pm. We decided to visit Auntie Erin while Grandma and Grandpa go to Mexico for their anniversary next week. It was Carter's 2nd plane trip and he did great. He was awake when we took off, had a little nap in between and then awake for the bumpy landing. He cried when we landed. I think his ears were hurting but he got over it quick and has adjusted fairly well to the cooler weather and new surroundings. The only thing he hasn't adjusted to is that Daddy isn't here to tuck him in at night or get up to feed him in the early am. Jeff is at home working and getting the lawn in so Cubby has grass this next year to play in. So it's just me (with help from Erin, Mom and Bill) to feed and hold and bathe and change and get Cubby to bed...... and now I miss Daddy too.
I know I have a wonderful husband. I just realize it more when he's all of a sudden missing. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.

What a Day! I am a Cool Dude!

So Mommy got this great idea to read a book called "12 Hours of Sleep by 12 Weeks." From what I understand it's basically a silly schedule I am supposed to follow. I eat every four hours, which I am very good at, and I am supposed to sleep from 8:30 pm to 8:30 am with nothing to eat. I am getting used to that part. Last night, I slept from 8:30 to 3:30am. 7 straight hours! Wahooooo! Daddy came and checked on me when I cried at 3:30 but I decided to go right back to sleep, then I got hungry at 4:40 and couldn't wait til morning so Daddy fed me. It was back to my crib until I woke up at 7:20. I had a little trouble but I entertained myself until Mommy came and got me at 8:00 to start the day. I seem much happier today and in the last week since Mommy read this book. Funny what a book can do!

We then got ready for church, of course I had to wear another cute outfit!

When we got home from church I got to take that outfit off and wear my cool sunglasses. Daddy and I are twins!!!! Mommy thinks we are so cool!

Art in the Park

Today, Carter, Bree, Shannon, Karen, Kari and I went to an art fair in Boulder City . . . it's the art show I did last year called Art in the Park. Carter was very excited . . . he certainly is a mamma's boy.

Carter just "hung out" in his carrier. The weather was perfect and I was kicking myself that I didn't keep my booth for this year. . . but I have a new project right now.
All the cool art really tuckered the lil' guy out.

Somewhere over the Rainbow . . .

Today was a bit rainy (felt like Seattle) but this afternoon we got to see the most beautiful rainbow. It was actually a double rainbow but it's very hard to see the 2nd rainbow in these pictures.

Tummy Time

Our big boy is getting stronger everyday. He actually enjoyed Tummy Time today and can pretty much prop himself up for short periods of time. He does, however, get really excited by his toys and can flop over to one side if you're not careful.

Vaccination Wednesday

Poor little man had to have his shots on Wednesday. He got 3 shots and started to cry only when he realized he was getting more than 1. Ouwwwwwiiiieee!!! He now weighs 11 lbs 10 oz and is still 23 .5 inches long. He is in the 75%.

Once we got him home and in his swing he was just fine, sporting his Snoopy Band-Aid.

Seahawk Sunday

Sunday we watched the Seahawks Game......
they lost but Auntie Kari and Carter sure looked cute for the occasion.
