Shower Video

This is for Auntie Erin, she said she almost peed her pants when she saw the pictures of Carter in the shower. Maybe with the video she will actually lose it . . . .then she will have to shower.

He He He

Cutie Pie Cam

He started smiling at me FINALLY!
His 1st official smile was at Grandma Vi on November 14th, 2 weeks ago in Wednesday night meeting. For some reason he just looked up at her and grinned from ear to ear. I didn't think she was funny looking, Apparently Cam thinks so.

Potty Time!

Carter has decided he wants to be a "big boy" some of the time. Every once in a while he says "potty" and runs like a crazy man to the bathroom.
Most of the time it's too late but he sits on the potty anyway.

Thanksgiving Day

Uncle Steve, Aunt Sandy, Ryan and Sara (aka Cubby #1) came for the Thanksgiving Day celebrations.
They arrived shortly after we were finally able to persuade Carter to get out of the shower.

Aunt Sandy was in charge of turkey . . . fresh from some hoity toity store.

Uncle Steve named himself "The Official Dishwasher"

Ryan became the Babysitter, entertaining both little ones.

Lots of hard work in the kitchen . . . (notice in the first picture it was light outside, now dark)

made for lots of hungry tummys waiting to eat. . .

and the end result was a fabulous dinner!

Butter in the shape of a turkey . . . what will they think of next?

Perfect turkey in the shape of a perfect turkey. . . 18lbs for 6.5 people . . . we were stuffed!
The Petersen Four (Minus Uncle Steve) and Shepherd Four

Ryan and Sara were incredible with the boys!
Kept 'em out of my hair for most of the day!

Carter loves Uncle Steve
Camden turned 7 weeks old
He got cuter and cuter . . .
Cousins and 2nd cousins.
The Happy Family.

What Carter does when you aren't watching . . .

Thanksgiving day started with a rush to get food prepared. I thought I'd warm up the shower while I pulled a pie out of the oven. When I returned 2 seconds later I found Carter in the shower . . . in his jammies . . .

Normally, I don't let him in our shower
(with the tile, I'm soooo afraid he will slip and bump his head)
but it was a holiday so the normal "rules" went down the drain.

He would've stayed in there forever. But his little hands got all pruned and I had stuff to do.

Mom, this is for you . . .

Flip-flops and a mop. Just a normal Sunday around here.

Tea Time with the Girls . . . and Camden

Jeff's cousin Heidi is in town with her hubby from Australia. We went to Treasured Time Tea House for a little lunch and tea. Camden came along for the fun.

Grandma Vi, Glenna, Karen, Jessica (with baby Roo - only 3 months to go!!!) and Kari
All the girls . . . Heidi is at the back right
Grandma's flowering tea, it was hand bound tea that opened up with hot water and ended up looking like a flower.
My Pot Pie, very cool crust.

Quick trip to Paris

Jeff and I went on a date to the Eiffel Tower this Friday.
No, we didn't travel to Paris, France, we just drove 15 minutes to the Strip and went to
THE Paris hotel, they have a mini Eiffel Tower with an awesome restaurant.

Dave and Elise were in town and joined us.
We decided not to have the 1 oz of Caviar for $340.00 - go figure.Instead I had the beef tenderloin with lobster crust - this was my dinner.
It was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! (and no where near $340.00)
Jeff's chocolate plate dessert
Renee's dessert
The Chef and crew. Our waiter was a super cute elderly french man.

Carter and the Basketball

Carter likes to play with the basketball and recently started to try to put it throught the hoop that my parents bought him for his birthday.

He doesn't quite get that it goes through the top of the hoop not the bottom.

Fish??? Well Kinda . . .

Amanda's parents (AKA "Grampy Steve and Grammy Pearl") were in town for a couple days . . The 3 of us took the boys to the dolphin habitat at the Mirage yesterday.
Carter proudly announced after we got home that we saw "FISH"
Well kinda, but it was hard to explain to him that they were really dolphins.

Dane decided he was tired of walking so he got in Carter's stroller.
Thus, Carter was leashed by "Grampy" Steve.

"Seriously Mom, I said LETS GO!!!!"

Alright, ready to go! High five Camden!

Brotherly love

Carter has taken a big interest in Camden lately.
We are teaching him to hold Camden "nicely"

Giving Camden his binki.
