I have received soooo many neat gifts for my 1st Christmas . . . . and yes, Mommy let me open most of them early! I will be sure to post some pictures of all the great things, like my talking caterpillar from Auntie Erin, my Seahawks jersey from Auntie Kari, my AWESOME leather jacket from Uncle Bryan and Auntie Shannon. My life size Curious George from Uncle Kev and Auntie Jess just to name a few. Plus all new toys from many more special people! There is more to come because hey, I keep getting spoiled! Mommy says she will get pictures up soon.

Grandpa and Grandma Shepherd gave me this neat polar bear for Christmas. It growls when you tap his head . . . I learned to growl back.

Weather Man. . .

I checked the weather last night before bed and there was a slight prediction of snow overnight, I tried to tell my parents but then they just put me to sleep. . .

Boy were the surprised at 2:30 am when the backyard was a winter wonderland . . .

I hate to say it, but "I told you so. . . and ya would've heard me if I didn't have this binky in my mouth."

I'm Walking!!!!

Well, little Bree decided to start walking yesterday. I guess it was a "Happy Birthday Grandpa" present. It took a little to get her going but by the end of the night she was on her own.

Bryan and Shannon are going to have their hands full now!

This first video she went only a few steps but as she kept trying her distance got longer each time.

A gorgeous young redhead goes into the doctor's office and said that her body hurt wherever she touched it.
"Impossible!" says the doctor. "Show me."
The redhead took her finger, pushed on her elbow and screamed. She pushed her knee and screamed; likewise she pushed her ankle and screamed. Everywhere she touched made her scream.

He has started to sit up sort of by himself, he just needs a little support still but for the most part he's on his own.

We have so many things to be thankful for this year . . . great family, beautiful friends, and incredible happiness just to name a few. Of course this year also brought one cute lil' turkey, to love and be thankful for.

Life here on earth doesn't get any better than this.

A Bumbo? What's a Bumbo you ask, well it's this really cool chair that Carter is sitting in. It helps support little ones so they can learn to sit quicker. It strengthens their abs, hey maybe I need one.

It is perfect for reading time, Carter was occupied for some time.

Then he decided he better call Auntie Erin to thank her for the cool new chair! He continued to read while the call was connected.

Today, I got all of Carter's toys out and he played for some time all by himself.

He actually likes his sunglasses and his rattle bracelet.

(the sunglasses were kind of silly considering we were in the house, but he's just soooo cute I couldn't resist.)
