A great Joke from Grandma Klock

A gorgeous young redhead goes into the doctor's office and said that her body hurt wherever she touched it.
"Impossible!" says the doctor. "Show me."
The redhead took her finger, pushed on her elbow and screamed. She pushed her knee and screamed; likewise she pushed her ankle and screamed. Everywhere she touched made her scream.
The doctor said, "You're not really a redhead, are you?
"Well, no" she said, "I'm actually a blonde."
"I thought so," the doctor said. "Your finger is broken."

He He He He!

This Week In the Life of Carter

He has started to sit up sort of by himself, he just needs a little support still but for the most part he's on his own.
. . . and he's very proud of himself.
Happy Boy.
One of Jeff's coworkers gave this onesie to Carter. I love it.

Friday night with the Anderson family. Best buddies Dane and Carter just hanging out.
Say cheese.
A little love time from his favorite TUESDAY AND THURSDAY babysitter.
Bree and her Uncle Kevin
Cousins
Great Grandma Vi gets some snuggle time.
Loren, Carter and Shanda just chillin' after we all ate way too much!
Loren holding Carter, for some reason Loren is the only one who gets away with holding him like this. He loves to just hang out.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
We have so many things to be thankful for this year . . . great family, beautiful friends, and incredible happiness just to name a few. Of course this year also brought one cute lil' turkey, to love and be thankful for.

Life here on earth doesn't get any better than this.

Sweet potato!

Mommy's in charge of making the potatoes, I'm a sweet potato, she can just bring me.

But wait, I don't want to be boiled. Get me outta this pot!

More Bumbo pictures . . .

He just loves to read, it's so cute how he holds the book up with his little foot.

Another cheesy grin for Auntie Erin.

Some sort of gang sign with his right hand again, I think that means, "I love this Bumbo!"

Auntie Erin sends a Bumbo!

A Bumbo? What's a Bumbo you ask, well it's this really cool chair that Carter is sitting in. It helps support little ones so they can learn to sit quicker. It strengthens their abs, hey maybe I need one.

It is perfect for reading time, Carter was occupied for some time.

Then he decided he better call Auntie Erin to thank her for the cool new chair! He continued to read while the call was connected.

Play time

Today, I got all of Carter's toys out and he played for some time all by himself.
He actually likes his sunglasses and his rattle bracelet.
(the sunglasses were kind of silly considering we were in the house, but he's just soooo cute I couldn't resist.)

Bree's birthday party

Very cute Clifford theme party for 1 year old Bree.
There were presents galore!

Birthday Girl!
Auntie Kari baked Bree her own Clifford cake, she loved it! And we all loved that she wouldn't eat it unless she had a spoon!

Happy Family, Bree shares her cake with her Daddy!
Just a few of the great presents Bree got . . .
a cute green chair from her Daddy and Mommy that's just her size,
a rocking zebra from us,
and a soft unicorn from Auntie Kari.

Mommy and Me!

Computer Work

Daddy would like you to think that he is working away on the computer but even I can tell he's just checking football scores, very interesting!
Smile! Seahawks won!
More smiles for Mommy!

Happy 1st Birthday Bree!!!!

Our sweetie pie niece, Bree, turns 1 today, can't believe it's been a whole year since we were all sitting at the hospital waiting to meet her. She was this tiny baby not that long ago. Now she's walking (almost), chatting, smiling, laughing, and she likes Clifford the big red dog (hence the pic below). She's a brilliant little girl. Crazy what a child can accomplish in 1 small year.
So without further ado . . . . HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!!!
Here's a picture for just for you!

Just Rolling . . .

I put Carter down for some "tummy time" this am and went into the bathroom for a second, when I came back he was on his back. Hmmmm, how did that happen? Didn't I leave him on his tummy? I thought maybe I was nuts, so I put him back on his tummy and sat down next to him while I folded clothes. The next thing I new he was on his back again. Ok, this time I know I am not crazy, so I ran to get the camera in case he did it again. And he did . . .

. . . and so I sound like an over zealous crazy lady . . . but like I said, "Good Job, Carter!!!"

Here's another try

Sorry this video is sideways, I wasn't holding the camera right. He's not doing anything too exciting, just cooing, I will try to get something "more genius" later.

Video

I am playing with Blogger, trying to upload video of Carter. This isn't great video but I am practicing with it so be patient with me.

Is it Winter or is My Mom nuts?

Mom is nuts, it is 85 outside today but she bought these cute mittens and silly Reindeer hat and couldn't wait to put them on me.
In fact it was sooooo beautiful outside today that we spent some time on the new lawn.

Attention Seeker

I think Patch is craving some attention, what do you think?

Weekend Visitors

Uncle Bill and Auntie Sara came to visit this past weekend. I got to wear my special fireman jammies in honor of my favorite fireman . . . Uncle Bill.
We had a couple meals with Mike, Amanda and Dane. Dane loves Sara.
Another cute picture of two very handsome boys . . . even if you didn't bring your uniform, Bill.

Of course my Mommy is a little biased but she thinks I am the cutest boy she knows, aside from my Daddy that is. Now that she works on Monday, Tuesday and 1/2 day Thursday she REALLY misses me. She can't wait to get home to hug me.
Just think, three months ago my parents didn't even know who I was, I had no name, no cute smile they could smile back at, no sparkly eyes, no giggles, no cuddles, no sweet sleepy eyes, no bath time fun, no footsie jammies, no Curious George hairline, no dancing to funny songs, no off key lullabies, no silly sneezes, no tiny hands to wrap around Daddy's finger, no tiny toes to tickle, no wake-up sighs, no "come get me" cries, no rushing home from work just to kiss me. I can't imagine what life was like before I came into the world.
