11:00 a.m. You know those days where you feel like no one is around and the baby naps for what feels like hours (it's only been 20 minutes) and you feel all alone. Not depressed just alone. Doing the laundry sounds boring, refilling the baby wipes has been done, any other project might take too long so I don't even start it. That's the day I am having. I am missing Jeff, he's at work. Missing my sister, and the way she calls Carter "Peanut" and the massive amounts of shopping we do when she visits, missing my mom and her way of taking care of me, her yummy dinners and mad cleaning. Missing Bill and his silly voice when he talks to Carter. Missing Kari, she left for Seattle to snowboard. Missing Bree and her little penguin walk, missing Bryan, Kevin and Loren and the screaming at the TV when the Seahawks are winning. (Can't wait for Sunday!!!) Missing Shannon, Jess, and Shanda and the girl talk mixed in between the screaming. Missing Shanda double and the great way she looks after our munchkin. Missing Bill and Sara in AZ and wanting to visit them. Missing Dan and Michelle and Dave and Elise and the good ol' times, eating at Red Robin before any of us were married and had responsibilities. Missing Grandma Vi . . . . Hey, she IS home. I am calling her right now, she will be my pal today.
5:59 p.m. Ok, so I am back from shopping with Grandma. We had a great time. Lunch, a little fun shopping, grocery shopping and then a cup of tea. Carter was VERY well behaved all day, just hung out while we chatted. So I feel better but I remembered some people I missed in my earlier post. Missing the Anderson's and their little cutie pie. (Mikey . . .I am referring to Dane)Needing a movie night soon! Missing the Sanderson's and wanting to see their new little guy, Tristan Thomas. Missing the Radom's and wishing I could watch Paula's belly grow in person.
I am NOT missing Jeff any more, he is home and we are ready to start a good weekend. Happy am I.
