It has become a tradition, 3 years now, to spend Thanksgiving with my Uncle Steve, Aunt Sandy, Ryan and Sara. We made the drive to Cali for the event.
(An 8 hour car ride, with 2 kids, always worth it.)
I have learned over the past few years how to make a delicious turkey by watching my Aunt Sandy. Here I am pretending I did some of the work. (I'm a good prep girl, but lack to gumption to actually "prepare" the turkey)
9:30 am, ready for the oven.
The boys took a walk to the local park.
A family picture, smiling.
Trying to be serious like in the olden times.
Yummy turkey time.
Uncle Steve aka annual turkey carver extraordinaire .
And then we were spent.
