Short trip to Leavenworth and the Costco Tree

It was a grand idea to drive to Leavenworth and cut down a tree.
Except when we got there, we shopped, we got hungry and we wanted to sled.
Forget the tree, we got busy.
Then we got seriously hungry and it was packed.
So we packed back up, stopped for burgers in the car and had a Mt. Dew explode all over Dave and Elise's van. We laughed all the way to Costco where we strapped two trees to the roof of their van and began the trek home.

TigerPower, I'm Chris and That's Bro...

I may be partial but these kids crack me up!
Random conversations with them leave me laughing for days.

Cam's nickname for Carter: Bro
Cam's new name for himself: Chris
Forget the birth certificates people, it just doesn't matter.

Kirkland Waterfront

Every now and again we go down to the water front just to watch ducks and throw rocks into the water.
Today was more of a cuddle type of day for Camden.

But Carter said he wanted to be thrown in.  I tried, he just wouldn't let go.

November Randomness

A couple pictures from the month of November.

Our weekly coffee date. Cam and I sit and chat while Cubby is at school.

A Sounder's Game with my soccer stud.

Cheesy grins for the fun of it.

Happy 2ND birthday to Oliver, at the Basketti Factory!

And lots of napping.

Some strolls to the waterfront to feed seagulls.

Wrestling with Papa.

 And sweet dreams.

Carter as an "old old man"

Coziness by the fire

More time with Papa

Thanksgiving

And Family.

Brothers

This picture was taken January 2011, almost 10 months ago.
They were "resting" watching Curious George, cuddled up together.
I love those moments. I notice now, as they get bigger and busier, these are fewer and farther between.

Last year, when we were still in our apartment, Jeff's parents came to visit. AKA, The Las Vegas Grandparents. Since it was 2 days before Lyle's birthday and tradition usually causes Grandma to bake something with the boys, they made cupcakes for him.

It took forever to post these, A WHOLE YEAR!, but I wanted to remember how much the boys love time with both sets of grandparents and how they are so lucky to be loved by so many.

P.S. I asked Carter why he was picking his nose in this picture.
He said, "I wasn't, I was just pointing to it." After I zoomed in, I see he was right.

Halloween

Dave, Elise and Oliver came over for Cornbread and White Chili, seems to have become tradition for us. Then our 3 little firemen put on their get and went out search for candy.
