Easter

I'm playing catch up on here obviously. Here are a couple pictures from Easter. We had just got home from Hawaii the morning before and everything was packed in our apartment including the boys beds, which is why they are sleeping on the couch.

I've been told that the Eater Bunny shops all year for this day. He just can't resist.

The Easter Bunny had to figure out how to get around all our boxes....

... but he did fine and the boys were so excited, they came rushing into our room yelling that "the bunny had come!"
After being away from them for the week prior, it was so good to wake up to their excited faces.

The House

For those watching and waiting, here are a few pictures of the new house. I only managed to capture the Master, Kids Bathroom, Kitchen and Living Room before Cam had to go the the hospital, so here you go. More to follow of the Boys Room, Family Room, 2 Guest rooms, Laundry and 2 more Bathrooms.

Standing in the dining area, kitchen to my right, front door behind the wall with the chair on it. Up the stairs is our Master Bedroom/bathroom, the boys room, bathroom and Guest room/office.

Kitchen from the dining area, The stairs lead down to another guest room and bathroom and laundry room and family/play room. There is a window that looks through from the kitchen to the family room.

Mother's Day

I still forget sometimes that Mother's Day is now my day too. I feel so lucky to have the best Mama a girl could have that I forget it's my day to be spoiled as well. Which, in Jeff's usual style, is exactly what happened. The morning started with a present made by Carter (I will snap a photo soon) He was very proud of himself and his preschool project. Then Jeff gave me my new IPhone. Yippee! After, it was lunch with my Mama and Seester. My two favorite girls. We ran some errands after that and finished the day at my parents for Chinese food. It didn't rain and nobody got hurt which means it was a pretty good day. (see prior post)

Day Two

Sad face pictures.
Some may have heard that Cam had a quick trip to the ER yesterday.
His face is quite swollen today and his cut is starting to close.
This kid is a serious trooper. Smiling all day, never complaining.
Poor kid looks like he's from Whoville but all in all no worse for the wear.

BuBbLeS! the perfect afternoon distraction.
Mr. O came over (with Dave of course) while us girls hit up the Mill Creek garage sales. For the last 10 years I have missed going with my sister and mom. This year we started at 7am and didn't stop till after 1pm. Fun times!

Jeff's Birthday party and Cam's Visit to the ER

The day started off normal, cleaning, cooking, playing and getting ready for company for Jeff's birthday party.
Then these pictures were taken about 40 minutes before Camden decided to take a nose dive into the glass coffee table.
Cute aren't we?

Then we heard the "crack" and then the scream. Oh and then lots and lots of blood. Carter and Cam were wrestling and Cam fell into the coffee table. He split the underside of his nose pretty good. I decided a trip to the ER was probable in order. Carter cried as we left, "No stitches for Camden!' He doesn't like stitches! They will hurt him, Sob, Sob!" So sad. Mom drove with me to the hospital. We got right in, nice perk for working there.

After some consideration, we decided not to do stitches since the area under his nose should close on its own and sedating him would be far worse, and more traumatizing for him....and me. Cam was a super trooper, letting them examine and clean him up. He only said it hurt once or twice but wanted to get home. I promised cupcakes and friends were waiting for us and we stopped for a smoothie, antibiotics and tylenol on the way home.

We returned home to Jeff's party and the night ended well. Good distraction to have friends and family to welcome you home from the minor heart attack you had an hour before.

Cupcakes make everything feel better.

Hard to see the injury but it goes up a couple mm under his nose and you can see the swelling starting under his Right eye.

We smile anyway.

Sweetest Mr. O and his cupcake.

Presents!
(that's the glass table to the right that messed with my baby's face)

Jeff and Cubby, will boys EVER learn to stop wrestling?!

Good Day, Bad Day. Happy Ending.
