Uncle Steve, Aunt Sandy, Ryan and Sara (aka Cubby #1) came for the Thanksgiving Day celebrations.
They arrived shortly after we were finally able to persuade Carter to get out of the shower.
Aunt Sandy was in charge of turkey . . . fresh from some hoity toity store.
Uncle Steve named himself "The Official Dishwasher"

Ryan became the Babysitter, entertaining both little ones.

Lots of hard work in the kitchen . . . (notice in the first picture it was light outside, now dark)

made for lots of hungry tummys waiting to eat. . .
and the end result was a fabulous dinner!Butter in the shape of a turkey . . . what will they think of next?
Perfect turkey in the shape of a perfect turkey. . . 18lbs for 6.5 people . . . we were stuffed!
The Petersen Four (Minus Uncle Steve) and Shepherd Four
Ryan and Sara were incredible with the boys!Kept 'em out of my hair for most of the day!
