Tea Time with the Girls . . . and Camden

Jeff's cousin Heidi is in town with her hubby from Australia. We went to Treasured Time Tea House for a little lunch and tea. Camden came along for the fun.

Grandma Vi, Glenna, Karen, Jessica (with baby Roo - only 3 months to go!!!) and Kari
All the girls . . . Heidi is at the back right
Grandma's flowering tea, it was hand bound tea that opened up with hot water and ended up looking like a flower.
My Pot Pie, very cool crust.

Quick trip to Paris

Jeff and I went on a date to the Eiffel Tower this Friday.
No, we didn't travel to Paris, France, we just drove 15 minutes to the Strip and went to
THE Paris hotel, they have a mini Eiffel Tower with an awesome restaurant.

Dave and Elise were in town and joined us.
We decided not to have the 1 oz of Caviar for $340.00 - go figure.Instead I had the beef tenderloin with lobster crust - this was my dinner.
It was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! (and no where near $340.00)
Jeff's chocolate plate dessert
Renee's dessert
The Chef and crew. Our waiter was a super cute elderly french man.

Carter and the Basketball

Carter likes to play with the basketball and recently started to try to put it throught the hoop that my parents bought him for his birthday.

He doesn't quite get that it goes through the top of the hoop not the bottom.

Fish??? Well Kinda . . .

Amanda's parents (AKA "Grampy Steve and Grammy Pearl") were in town for a couple days . . The 3 of us took the boys to the dolphin habitat at the Mirage yesterday.
Carter proudly announced after we got home that we saw "FISH"
Well kinda, but it was hard to explain to him that they were really dolphins.

Dane decided he was tired of walking so he got in Carter's stroller.
Thus, Carter was leashed by "Grampy" Steve.

Monday Night Football

"Seriously Mom, I said LETS GO!!!!"
Camden doesn't want to go, Carter reassures him he will like football.

Alright, ready to go! High five Camden!

Brotherly love

Carter has taken a big interest in Camden lately.
We are teaching him to hold Camden "nicely"

Giving Camden his binki.
Oppps, it fell out again.
" Nice Camden" - Carter pets his brother like he's the family dog.

Randomness

We always get such awesome cards in the mail, handmade, sweet thoughts, helpful advise etc, but this card has to be the very coolest we received.
It says, "Congratulations on your newest fan"
and for those not familiar with football the baby is wrapped in a Seahawks blanket.
It was perfect for us . . . until Sunday, that is, when they lost pitifully and Jeff considered giving away his Alexander jersey.

I came home last night from a girls Bunco (sp?) night to find Camden sleeping on Jeff with his little feet dangling off Jeff's side. I just wanted to kiss those little piggys . . . but I also wanted to sleep so I didn't chance waking Cam, I just took a picture instead.

15 months old

Carter turned 15 months yesterday . . . he loves to put on Daddy's shoes and try to walk around.

He also loves to make a mess. He will help clean up if asked though. He likes to throw things away and can say "trash." He can also say mama, dad, juice, cacker (cracker), eat, cat, hi, dog, woof, raaahhhh (for a bear sound), tweet (for a birdy). He has 10 teeth, 2 more on the way. He loves to dance and tries to jump but his feet haven't made it off the ground yet. He gets bigger by the minute and never ceases to amaze us.

One Month Old

Camden is 1 month old today, he still sleeps quite a bit. . . Thankfully. But he has become a little more alert in the last week or so. He stays awake for a couple hours at a time and actually cries now when he is hungry or has a tummy ache. (Before he just grunted.) He sleeps about 5 hours straight at night and wakes to eat about 3:00am and then back to sleep till about 6:00am. His neck is getting stronger and he turns to follow voices and likes to watch Cubby run by.

Dancin' Fool

Carter has been dancing like crazy lately, in the car. at home, at the grocery store . . . this was just a bit of what we caught after the halloween party last night.

Happy Halloween

Here Ducky Ducky!
The boys wore matching duck costumes this year.
Carter didn't mind his costume too much and Camden didn't even notice he was wearing it.
Auntie "Gypsy" Shanda and her little Ducky Camden.
Bree-Bree as "Elmo"
Dane the Pirate and his loot "Carter the Duck"

Dane and his "pritty mooooon" - This is what he called his sword - it does look like a moon - the kid is super smart!
Carter and some of the gang -
Mikey as Pirate Daddy, Mom as grandma, Jeff as Harry Nile PI, Amy as herself.
Pirate and Duck play legos - this pirate looks way to friendly! Maybe thinking of having a rotisserie chicken for dinner!
Sleepy Duck

Harry Nile - Private Investigator and his Ducky sidekick
Chef Jess - with her "bun in the oven" and Kevin as . . . . well, just try and guess.
